Connective Retreat

The strong response to the documentary, WHY ARE YOU YOU?, produced by Linden Tree Productions, has generated significant interest and a clear need for gathering in community. This retreat is for former YRUU members and individuals curious about the YRUU experience, a “con” experience.

  • This is a retreat for adults only.
  • This is a sober retreat. We are working on language that defines this for everyone.
  • We will use our tech devices sparingly with the opportunity to turn in, shut off, put away your devices.

Pricing

Early Bird Price: $575

Base Price: $650

Leader -$250

Leaders jobs include: leading a workshop, a worship in collaboration with the directors, being an MC, as well as being a small group leader

Accommodations extras:

Single Private +$150

Couple Private +$75 each

A $305 deposit is due at booking.  
The remaining payment will be due October 16, 2026
100% refund available up to 90 days of the event
50% refund available between 60-89 days of the event
20% refund available 59-1 day of the event

Craigville Retreat Center provides our beautiful setting and meals. Your registration makes possible the heart of the retreat: the programming, guest facilitators, materials, and the thoughtful structure that holds the weekend together. This event will cost about 30K to run for 50 people. Any additional funds will be given back to the WHY ARE YOU YOU? project including the making of the documentary and podcast.

You are investing not just in a place to stay — but in an experience that has been intentionally designed to support connection, rest, growth, and community. An additional ask for donations will be asked at checkout to support a scholarship to those who need financial assistance to attend. 

Rooms have double and single beds.  Some are stacked bunks.
Bathrooms are shared either in the room or down the hall.

Lindsay Caddle LaPointe and Rev. Jason Lydon met when they were youth in the course About Your Sexuality. These two are putting their skills together to create this one of a kind experience for you all. Retreat Musician

Matt Meyer is the Director of Operations and Community Life for Sanctuary Boston. He also works professionally as an itinerant UU musician and worship leader, having led hundreds of services for UU congregations around the country.
