Sexual Conduct & Consent Policy

Our retreat is a space grounded in respect, safety, and personal autonomy. We recognize that participants may wish to explore connection, intimacy, or sexuality. This policy exists to ensure that all such interactions are consensual, respectful, and aligned with shared community values.

1. Affirmative Consent is Required
All sexual or intimate activity must be based on clear, informed, and enthusiastic consent from all parties involved. Consent must be: Freely given (without pressure, coercion, or manipulation),
Reversible at any time, Informed and specific to the activity, Enthusiastic and clearly communicated
Silence, hesitation, or lack of resistance does not constitute consent.

2. Respect for Boundaries
Each individual has the absolute right to set and maintain their own boundaries. These must be respected without question or negotiation. If someone expresses discomfort or withdraws consent at any point, all activity must stop immediately.

3. No Assumptions
Do not assume consent based on prior interactions, relationship status, clothing, behavior, or participation in retreat activities. Consent must be established each time.

4. Power Dynamics & Responsibility
Participants must be mindful of real or perceived power dynamics (e.g., facilitators, organizers, or experienced members). Those in positions of influence carry additional responsibility to avoid initiating or engaging in sexual or romantic interactions that could create pressure or imbalance.

5. Privacy & Discretion
Respect the privacy of others. Do not share or discuss others’ intimate experiences without explicit permission. Any sexual activity should occur in designated private spaces, if applicable, and never in shared or public areas without explicit community agreement.

6. Substance Use
Consent cannot be given when someone is incapacitated or significantly impaired by alcohol or other substances. Engaging in sexual activity with someone who is impaired is strictly prohibited.

7. Community Care
We encourage open communication, check-ins, and care for one another. If you witness or experience a violation of this policy, please report it to retreat organizers. All concerns will be handled with discretion and seriousness.

8. Accountability
Violations of this policy may result in consequences, including removal from the retreat, at the discretion of the organizers.

This policy is intended to foster a culture of trust, respect, and mutual care. Participation in the retreat implies agreement to uphold these values.
